Background: This study examines the effectiveness of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF, Rhizophagus irregularis) as a bioprotection strategy to improve wheat's physiological and biochemical responses. This study utilized soil inoculation with AMF and plant-controlled infestation with aphids, conducted over four weeks with three replicates per treatment.
Results: Although aphid infestation reduced root colonization by 26.
Inflammation of the pituitary gland can be primary (without another underlying cause) or secondary (associated with a systemic inflammatory condition). Primary hypophysitis is very rare, among which xanthomatous hypophysitis as a histological type is extremely unusual. A woman in her late 50s presented with recurrent pituitary lesions over 20 years.

The aggregation pathway of α-synuclein typically involves a defined sequence of nucleation, elongation, and secondary nucleation, exhibiting prion-like spreading. This study employed Raman spectroscopy and machine learning analysis, alongside complementary techniques, to characterize the biomolecular changes during the fibrillation of purified recombinant wild-type α-synuclein protein.

However, these time data are often not reliably captured in routine clinical practice. In this proof-of-concept study we analysed image-based time data automatically captured in the DICOM format.

The current standard of practice includes post-operative computer tomography imaging, which is subjectively evaluated. The implementation of an objective, automated evaluation of postoperative studies may enhance diagnostic accuracy and facilitate the scaling of research projects.
