In this study, we report the synthesis, optical characterization and ultra-sensitive ammonia gas sensing properties of Mg-doped ZnO cauliflower like nanostructures obtained via chemical spray pyrolysis technique. The morphological and structural properties of the prepared films were investigated by Field Emission Scanning electron microscope (FESEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Gas sensing and optical characterizations were carried out using Keithley electrometer and Uv-Vis.

Introduction The study was done to evaluate the analgesic activity of the aqueous and methanolic extracts of fresh rhizome of . The study objectives included evaluating and comparing the analgesic activity of both extracts at two different doses with that of the standard drug (aspirin) in Wistar rats using the rat tail-flick method. Method The study was conducted after receiving approval from the animal ethics committee.

Anomalous coronary arteries are associated with sudden cardiac death, although only in a relatively small percentage. Although this has been a field of study for years and there are many ongoing studies of larger patient cohorts and longer term follow-up, important questions remain at present in clinical decision-making, particularly whether or not to have surgery. Advanced imaging techniques including coronary computed tomography (CT) and cardiac magnetic resonance (MR) play an important role in the workup of patients with known or suspected anomalies including delineating origin and course as well as defining presence of high-risk imaging features.

Aims This study aims to analyse the type of repair and post-op outcomes for individuals who underwent surgical intervention and presented with symptomatic abdominal wall hernia as an emergency. It highlights the importance of timely elective hernia management in lowering emergency presentations and any related complications. Background Abdominal wall hernias are common surgical conditions that can present electively or as emergencies, with emergency cases being associated with higher complication rates.

Artificial blood feeding of mosquitoes is essential for their rearing in insectaries as well as for mosquito-borne pathogen transmission experiments. We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of the different artificial feeding systems available for mosquitoes to synthesize evidence regarding their efficacy in terms of feeding rates and fecundity. PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar were systematically searched to retrieve 1,822 experimental studies assessing the efficacy of artificial feeding systems.
