Background: The use of in-vivo dosimetry is a long-standing but also labor-intensive component of risk-level assessment for patients with implanted devices. A calculation-only approach, using treatment planning system (TPS)-calculated doses along with imaging doses estimates when relevant, has the potential to streamline the physics workflow without negatively impacting patient safety.

Purpose: To evaluate the feasibility of using a calculation-only approach for risk level assessment for patients with implanted electronic medical devices.

Objective: The objective was to comprehensively investigate the clinical, molecular, and imaging characteristics and outcomes of H3 K27-altered diffuse midline glioma (DMG) in adults.

Methods: Retrospective chart and imaging reviews were performed in 111 adult patients with H3 K27-altered DMG from two tertiary institutions. Clinical, molecular, imaging, and survival characteristics were analyzed.

Objectives: To report the frequency of patients with pre- and post-reduction computed tomography (CT) scans associated with acetabular fracture-dislocations and the change of associated intra-articular fragments occurring with joint reduction.

Methods: Design: Retrospective case series.

Setting: Regional Level 1 trauma center.

Objective: To synthesize evidence of surgical treatment intensity, defined as a measure of the quantity of invasive procedures, received by patients in patients with cancer within a defined time period around the 'end of life' (EoL).

Background: Concern regarding overly 'aggressive' care or high health care utilization at the EoL, particularly in cancer, is growing. The contribution surgery makes to the quality and cost of EoL care in cancer has not yet been quantified.
