This cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the association between the TyG index and both obesity indicators and hypertension among American adults. Data were drawn from 4,813 adults in the 2013-2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). Multivariate logistic regression models indicated significant associations between TyG and obesity-related indices with hypertension.

Hybrid excitons formed via resonant hybridization in 2D material heterostructures feature both large optical and electrical dipoles, providing a promising platform for many-body exciton physics and correlated electronic states. However, hybrid excitons at organic-inorganic interface combining the advantages of both Wannier-Mott and Frenkel excitons remain elusive. Here, hybrid excitons are reported in the copper phthalocyanine/molybdenum diselenide (CuPc/MoSe) heterostructure (HS) featuring strong molecular orientation dependence by low-temperature photoluminescence and absorption spectroscopy.

The methanol-to-olefins (MTO) process has the potential to bridge future gaps in the supply of sustainable lower olefins. Promoting the selectivity of propylene and ethylene and revealing the catalytic role of active sites are challenging goals in MTO reactions. Here, we report a novel heteroatomic silicoaluminophosphate (SAPO) zeolite, SAPO-34-Ta, which incorporates active tantalum(V) sites within the framework to afford an optimal distribution of acidity.
