Epithelioid Hemangioendothelioma of Spleen and Bone: A Case Report.

Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (EHE) is a rare vascular tumor that can originate in various parenchymatous organs, soft tissue, and bone. Extrahepatic involvement is exceedingly rare. In this case, multifocal disease in the spleen and bone was present.

Vertical transmission of SARS-CoV-2 infection and preterm birth.

Viral infections are common complications of pregnancy, with a wide range of obstetric and neonatal sequelae. Currently, there are limited data on whether SARS-CoV-2 is vertically transmitted in pregnant women tested positive for the virus. Here we describe a case of a known SARS-CoV-2-positive woman giving preterm birth to two fetuses with SARS-CoV-2 positive testing in placental tissue and amniotic fluid.

Nora's lesion or bizarre parosteal osteochondromatous proliferation: a rare and relatively unknown entity.

The case of a 34-year-old man with a fast growing hard lump on the fourth digit of the right hand is presented. Radiography and MRI of the finger showed the radiologic characteristics of a bizarre parosteal osteochondromatous proliferation. Pathologic analysis confirmed the radiologic diagnosis.

Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma: contribution and limitation of imaging for its diagnosis.

Malignant mesothelioma of the peritoneum is a rare primary peritoneal tumor with a pore prognosis. The overall prevalence is one to two cases per million. The tumor arises from mesothelial cells in the pleura or, in this case, peritoneum.

DNA analysis of a transplanted cryopreserved meniscal allograft.

Meniscal transplantation is frequently performed in young patients with a single meniscal-deficient compartment as a result of previous total meniscectomy. Indications, operative techniques, and preservation of meniscal allografts have been studied extensively. In this study we compared the DNA profile of a meniscal allograft with that of the human recipient 1 year after transplantation.
