- Chronic diarrhea and short stature were significant predictors of CeD, suggesting the need for routine screening of nutritional anemia patients for CeD, particularly those who don’t respond to iron treatment.
A hepatic abscess is a potentially life-threatening condition that can lead to major complications if left untreated. We report a case of an elderly male patient with a hepatic abscess that ruptured into the duodenum and colon, forming fistulous connections.
