Understanding and effectively controlling molecular conformational changes are essential for developing responsive and dynamic molecular systems. Here, we report that an oriented external electric field (OEEF) is an effective catalyst for the cis-trans isomerization of stiff-stilbene, a key component of overcrowded alkene-based rotary motors. This reversible isomerization occurs under ambient conditions, is free from side reactions, and has been verified using ultraperformance liquid chromatography and UV-vis absorption spectroscopy.

However, its high Zn content results in poor corrosion resistance, limiting its application in other fields. In order to achieve the synergistic improvement of both strength and corrosion resistance, this study examines the response of strength, toughness and corrosion resistance of a high-strength aluminum alloy tail frame under aging conditions with external stresses of 135 MPa, 270 MPa and 450 MPa.

The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of different pH values and chloropropene flow rates on the erosion-corrosion behavior of 316L stainless steel. The influence of various factors on the surface morphology was analyzed using scanning electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffractometry, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy techniques. The results revealed that at a pH value of 3.

In the components, the heat-affected zone (HAZ, also called as bonding zone) between the forged substrate zone and the arc deposition zone was key to the final performance of the components. In this study, the Mn-Mo-Ni welding wire was deposited on the 16MnD5 substrate with a submerged arc heat source.
