Introduction: Tobacco smoking remains a leading cause of ill-health, premature mortality and a driver of health inequalities. To support smokers in England, a comprehensive approach to treating tobacco dependence is being implemented. This includes offering support to all people admitted to hospitals, as well as women and pregnant people within NHS settings.

Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infects a wide range of cell types, including tumor-associated myeloid cells and glioma cells. Clinical observations suggest a potential link between long-term glioblastoma survival and CMV reactivation. We herein present an oncolytic CMV vector, AD169r, which includes a restored pentamer complex gH/gL/pUL128-131 and the removal of UL1-UL20 and UL/b' sequences.

In the face of growing health challenges, nontraditional sources of data, such as open data, have the potential to transform how decisions are made and used to inform public health policies. Focusing on the COVID-19 pandemic, this article presents a case study employing sentiment analysis on unstructured social media data from Twitter (now X) to gauge public sentiment regarding pandemic-related restrictions. Our study aims to uncover and analyze Jamaican citizens' emotions and opinions surrounding COVID-19 restrictions following an outbreak at a call center in April 2020.
