Background: The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the need to provide schools with support for implementing infection prevention and control (IPC) measures. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services engaged the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology to develop the IPC Toolkit for Missouri Schools to train school-based IPC teams.
Methods: A needs assessment was conducted with Missouri school staff and IPC professionals, among other partners.
Objectives: Discrepancies between sleep diaries and sensor-based sleep parameters are widely recognized. This study examined the effect of showing sensor-based sleep parameters while completing a daily diary. The provision of sensor-based data was expected to reduce variance but not change the mean of self-reported sleep parameters, which would in turn align better with sensor-based data compared to a control diary.

Methods: School administrators (n = 335) from a nationally representative sample of K-12 public schools completed four surveys assessing COVID-19 prevention strategies at two-month intervals between October 2021 and June 2022. We calculated weighted prevalence estimates by survey wave.
For centuries, Hawaiians have gathered seaweed for food, medicine, and ceremonial purposes. Seaweed contains nutrients, but some varieties can accumulate toxic elements. We measured target macrominerals (Na, Mg, P, K, Ca), microminerals (B, V, Mn, Co, Cu, Zn, Mo), and nonessential/toxic elements (As, Sr, Cd, Sn, Hg, Pb, and U) in a sample of wild-collected and cultivated seaweeds from Hawai'i.

This refers specifically to technologies that will shape and affect how care is delivered-not in today's health care facilities but in facilities 20 years from now and beyond.
Method: A cross-sectional survey examining how seven emerging technologies were integrated into nursing curricula was developed and distributed to nursing faculty.
