A multi-center, randomized, open label, two-arm study to evaluate safety & efficacy of nutraceutical tablet as adjuvant when compared with standard of care in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Background: Benign Prostrate Hyperplasia (BPH) is a progressive disease of ageing men that may be associated with enlargement of the prostate and lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS). Herbal/Nutraceutical formulations in addition to standard of care (SOC) could alleviate the symptoms, and thus improve the quality of life of patients.

Objectives: To evaluate safety & efficacy of nutraceutical tablet as an adjuvant with SOC.

The hippocampus (HC) is recognized for its pivotal role in memory-related plasticity and facilitating adaptive behavioral responses to reward shifts. However, the nature of its involvement in the response to reward downshifts remains to be determined. To bridge this knowledge gap, we explored the HC's function through a series of experiments in various tasks involving reward downshifts and using several neural manipulations in rats.

Objectives: Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are among the leading standalone causes of morbidity and hospitalisation and contribute substantially to an increase in healthcare expenditure. Repeat ADR events, although difficult to quantify, are a recognised problem that lead to preventable suffering for the patient. The current approaches for the prevention of ADR recurrence in low/middle-income countries range from inefficient to non-existent.
