Periosteal chondroma is a rare benign tumor of hyaline cartilage. Periosteal chondroma arising in the ischium is an extremely rare event. By presenting this case report, we aim to remind that differential diagnosis of these lesions should be carefully performed especially for unusual locations.

Background: Cutaneous metastases from well-differentiated thyroid carcinomas are rare and usually identified in patients with widely disseminated disease. Fine-needle aspiration biopsy (FNAB) has become an acceptable method for the assessment of thyroid nodules. Granular cell tumor of peripheral nerves is extremely rare. We present the case of a patient with a well-capsulated intraneural granular cell tumor involving the posterior tibial nerve, who presented with chronic heel pain mimicking plantar fasciitis. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a well-defined intraneural soft-tissue mass within the substance of the posterior tibial nerve.
