Case Report: A 54 year old male, who consulted for acute inflammatory palpebral edema. The patient has HIV infection (on antiretroviral treatment) and an associated facial lipodystrophy that was filled with polyalkylimide in both frontotemporal regions one year before. MRI revealed subcutaneous abscesses in the filled areas, which led to preseptal cellulitis.

Clinical Case: A 2-months-old girl had a fast growth hemangioma in the left side of the face, that involved upper eyelid and superior and external portion of the orbit, covering her visual axis and pushing the eye and lateral rectus muscle. We gave oral propranolol as treatment and we noticed a fast and constant hemangioma reduction and resolution of orbital and palpebral component.

Discussion: According to previous researches, propranolol seems to be an effective and safe drug to treat capillary hemangioma.

Clinical Case: A patient had bilateral angioid streaks complicated by cicatricial degeneration in the left eye and subfoveal choroidal neovascularization in the right eye. Photodynamic therapy resulted in a favorable response with normalization of the visual acuity and angiographic resolution of the lesions.

Discussion: The most serious complication of angioid streaks is choroidal neovascularization.

Clinical Case: We report the case of a 45-year-old male who attended our emergency service with loss of vision in his left eye after an attack of influenza. The vision in his left eye was slightly inferior to that in the right eye. Ophthalmoscopy showed small orange lesions in the macular and foveolar area.

A prospective study of Pseudoexfoliation (PSX) syndrome prevalence has been evaluated in the northwest of Spain. In 850 examined patients (greater than or equal to 60 years old), PSX syndrome was found in 161 (18.9%); the frequency in those who suffered from cataract was 28.
