Purpose: Few factors have been identified that increase the risk of visits (hospital emergency room or inpatient stays) due to hyperemesis gravidarum (HG). The purpose of this study is to understand trends in HG management and identify variables increasing visit frequency so that strategies may be developed to reduce hospital utilization.

Study Design: An online survey was posted on the Hyperemesis Education and Research Foundation website and social media between June 2022 and May 2023.

A Unique Case of Mesenteric Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor Presenting as an Acute Abdomen.

Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are the most common mesenchymal tumors in the digestive tract and arise from the interstitial cells of Cajal in the mesenteric plexus. These tumors can originate in any part of the GI tract; however, a higher burden has been observed in the stomach and small intestines. Mesenteric GISTs are exceedingly rare, with unique clinicopathological features and a poorer prognosis.

New composites produced with recycled waste are needed to manufacture more sustainable construction materials. This paper aimed to analyze the hygrothermal and mechanical performance of plasterboard with a polymethylhydrosiloxane (PMHS) content, incorporating recycled PET microplastic waste and varying factors such as PMHS dose, homogenization time, and drying temperature after setting. A cube-centered experimental design matrix was performed.

NSD3 in Cancer: Unraveling Methyltransferase-Dependent and Isoform-Specific Functions.

NSD3 (nuclear receptor-binding SET domain protein 3) is a member of the NSD histone methyltransferase family of proteins. In recent years, it has been identified as a potential oncogene in certain types of cancer.
