Approximate Priority Hybrid 3DNoC Buffered-Bufferless Router.

This paper introduces a novel 3D NoC router that combines buffered and bufferless routing with approximate priority comparison when deflecting flits. Our proposal is a modification of an asymmetrical router that is buffered in the z dimension ports and bufferless in the x and y dimension ports. Flits that request output ports in the x and y dimensions are granted or deflected based on approximate, instead of accurate, priority comparison.

Origin of Bluetongue Virus Serotype 8 Outbreak in Cyprus, September 2016.

In September 2016, clinical signs, indicative of bluetongue, were observed in sheep in Cyprus. Bluetongue virus serotype 8 (BTV-8) was detected in sheep, indicating the first incursion of this serotype into Cyprus. Following virus propagation, Nextera XT DNA libraries were sequenced on the MiSeq instrument.

SnSiO, a Tin(II) Silicate with a Zinc Blende Related Structure and High Thermal Stability.

The crystal structure of a novel cubic tin(II) silicate, SnSiO (space group 4̅3, = 10.40708(2) Å, and = 4), synthesized by microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis has been solved by Rietveld refinement of the powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) data. The structure, analogous to zinc blende, comprises a face-centered-cubic array of [SnO] anions, with Si occupying half of the tetrahedral holes.

Extracts from the Mediterranean Food Plants , , and Enhanced GSH Levels and Increased Nrf2 Expression in Human Endothelial Cells.

The Mediterranean diet is considered to prevent several diseases. In the present study, the antioxidant properties of six extracts from Mediterranean plant foods were assessed. The extracts' chemical composition analysis showed that the total polyphenolic content ranged from 56 to 408 GAE mg/g dw of extract.

Novel Feed Including Olive Oil Mill Wastewater Bioactive Compounds Enhanced the Redox Status of Lambs.

Background/aim: The aim of the present study was to investigate the antioxidant effects of a feed supplemented with polyphenolic additives from olive mill wastewater (OMW) on lambs.

Materials And Methods: Lambs received breast milk until the postnatal period, and then they were divided into two groups and received control and OMW feed for 55 days. Redox biomarkers were measured in blood and tissues at days 15, 42 and 70 after feeding.
