Background: Byadagi chilli, a Geographical Indication (GI)-tagged chilli variety known for its special aroma and bright red colour, was accorded the GI tag in February 2011 with the GI number 129. The two traditional varieties of Byadagi chilli, namely: Dabbi and Kaddi, are the GI-tagged varieties. In this study, GI-tagged Byadagi Dabbi, Byadagi Kaddi and other cultivars of Byadagi chilli, such as Byadagi Lali (BL), Byadagi HPH 2043 (B2), Byadagi BSS 355 (B3) and another popular GI-tagged chilli variety, Guntur Sannam, were analysed to assess their inter-relationships.

The study presents findings from physico-chemical and elemental analyses of fresh faecal matter from a residential apartment in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, India. Samples were taken every 8-10 days over 4 months to account for variability and establish baseline data. The study also examines the influence of dietary patterns and toilet cleaners on faecal sludge properties.

Treatment of relapsed or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is difficult. The de novo diffuse large B-cell lymphoma has better prognosis than the transformed diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The response of CHOP or a similar regimen has an important role in determining response to salvage therapy, in relapse or refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma patients.

Introduction: Overlap syndrome is the association of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) with chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder and with other chronic respiratory diseases. Patients with overlap syndrome have a worse prognosis compared with chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder or OSA alone. Additionally, patients with combined chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder and OSA are more likely to develop pulmonary hypertension and right heart failure much earlier than those without overlap.

The pandemic COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) is caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which devastated the global economy and healthcare system. The infection caused an unforeseen rise in COVID-19 patients and increased the mortality rate globally. This study gives an overall idea about host-pathogen interaction, immune responses to COVID-19, recovery status of infection, targeted organs and complications associated, and comparison of post-infection immunity in convalescent subjects and non-infected individuals.
