Thymoquinone (TQ) is the primary component of L. (NS) oil, which is renowned for its potent hepatoprotective effects attributed to its antioxidant, anti-fibrotic, anti-inflammatory, anti-carcinogenic, and both anti- and pro-apoptotic properties.
