Pulmonary sequestration (PS) is a rare congenital malformation where abnormal lung tissue lacks a connection to the airways and receives blood supply from systemic arteries. This case report describes a 30-year-old man with recurrent hemoptysis diagnosed with intralobar PS (ILS) as the cause. He underwent video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery to clip and section the aberrant artery, resulting in a successful outcome with no further bleeding.

We aimed to externally validate the ABCD2 score for the prediction of stroke after TIA in a Tunisian population.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective observational study of consecutive patients admitted for TIA in four university hospitals in Tunisia.
The Tunisian health system, notably in its health insurance component, has allowed to record a satisfactory evolution of health indicators. Nevertheless, socio-economic, demographic and epidemiological transitions impose a global reform of the system, notably of its financing. The present article, leaving from the presentation of the current system of coverage of the social security insured, analyses observed insufficiencies that have brought public authorities to commit the health insurance reform.
