Background: Adherence and persistence to positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy are key factors for positive health outcomes. Home support providers (HSPs) participate in home implementation and follow-up of PAP therapy for patients with obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). In Europe, HSP levels of service are country (or area) specific, resulting in differences in content and frequency of patient interactions.

The objective of this scoping review was to describe the use of TTS in medical emergencies, specifically settings, specialties, participants, formats, and outcomes. We included 70 studies (33 descriptive studies [47%], 33 cohort studies [47%], and 2 randomized controlled trials [3%]), of which 65 reported positive results regarding reaction and learning educational outcomes (reaction: n = 37, 53%; learning: n = 25, 36%; behavior: n = 7, 10%; result: n = 1, 1%).

Methods: We conducted a database search in MEDLINE, Embase, CENTRAL, Web of Science, and CNKI for randomised controlled trials (RCTs) comparing HAT against placebo/standard of care or against hydrocortisone in sepsis/septic shock patients. Outcomes included mortality, ICU/hospital length of stay (LOS), vasopressor durations, mechanical ventilation durations, change in SOFA at 72 h, and adverse events.
Objective: To compare health outcomes and costs given in the emergency department (ED) and walk-in clinics for ambulatory children presenting with acute respiratory diseases.
Design: A retrospective cohort study.
Setting: This study was conducted from April 2016 to March 2017 in one ED and one walk-in clinic.
