The growing requirement for clean potable water requires sustainable methods of eliminating heavy metal ions and other organic contaminants. Herein, we synthesized a novel dual-purpose magnetically separable chitosan-based hydrogel system (CSGO-R@IO) that can efficiently remove toxic Cu pollutants from water. View Article and Find Full Text PDFAspartate beta semialdehyde dehydrogenase (ASADH) was studied using various spectroscopic techniques and size exclusion chromatography to examine the unfolding of free (apo) and NADP/H-bound (holo) forms of ASADH. Non-cooperative guanidinium chloride (GdnHCl)-induced unfolding of the apo ASADH was discovered, and no partially folded intermediate structures were stabilized. On the other hand, it was observed that GdnHCl's unfolding of holoenzyme was a cooperative process without any stable intermediate structure.

Aims: To evaluate the extent of DNA damage in oral smears of patients with OSCC and determine correlation if any of the extent of DNA damage to TNM staging of oral cancer.
Settings And Design: A randomized controlled study at a regional cancer centre was designed for this project.
