This feature makes them potential biopesticides in agriculture since they are considered a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic pesticides. A newly thermostable, haloalkaline, solvent tolerant and non-induced lipase from Aeribacillus pallidus designated as GPL was purified and characterized of biochemical and molecular study for apply in wastewater treatment. The GPL showed a maximum activity at 65°C and pH 10 after 22 h of incubation, with preference to TC4 substrates.
