The objective of this study is to implement an actionable incidental findings (AIFs) communication workflow integrated into the electronic health record (EHR) using dictation macros to improve the quality of radiology reports and facilitate delivery of findings to clinicians. The workflow was implemented across an academic multi-hospital health system and used by over 100 radiologists from 12 divisions. Standardized macros were created for different organ systems including the thyroid, lungs, liver, pancreas, spleen, kidney, female reproductive, and others, designed based on the ACR Novel Quality Measure Set.

During prenatal stages, the predominant channels are di-heteromers with two GluN1 and two GluN2B subunits due to the high abundance of GluN2B subunits. Postnatally, the expression of GluN2A subunits increases, giving rise to additional subtypes, including GluN2A-containing di-heteromers and tri-heteromers with GluN1, GluN2A, and GluN2B subunits.

The current study examined whether receipt of an alcohol-related brief intervention is associated with reduced risk of negative downstream opioid-related outcomes.
Methods: This retrospective cohort study included all VISN-6 Veterans Affairs (VA) patients with Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test-Consumption (AUDIT-C) screening results (N=492,748) from 2014 to 2019.
The current consensus holds that optically-cleared specimens are unsuitable for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI); exhibiting absence of contrast. Prior studies combined MRI with tissue-clearing techniques relying on the latter's ability to eliminate lipids, thereby fostering the assumption that lipids constitute the primary source of ex vivo MRI-contrast. Nevertheless, these findings contradict an extensive body of literature that underscores the contribution of other features to contrast.
