The structural, electronic, optical, thermoelectric, and magnetic properties of the Perovskite PrFeO: DFT and Monte Carlo simulations.

Context: Nowadays, Perovskite materials with diverse compositions and structures have garnered significant attention for their potential applications across various industrial and technological fields. Here, we investigated the structural, electronic, optical, thermodynamic, thermoelectric, and magnetic properties of perovskite PrFeO using density functional theory and Monte Carlo simulations. The optimization results demonstrate that the ferromagnetic phase is more stable than the antiferromagnetic phase.

[Thrombolysis alert in ischemic stroke: experience of the international private clinic Al Badie in Fez (cross-sectional study of 60 cases)].

Intravenous thrombolysis is the standard treatment for acute ischemic stroke. Does sex influence the natural history of idiopathic adult-onset dystonia?

Background: Several earlier studies showed a female predominance in idiopathic adult-onset dystonia (IAOD) affecting the craniocervical area and a male preponderance in limb dystonia. However, sex-related differences may result from bias inherent to study design. Moreover, information is lacking on whether sex-related differences exist in expressing other dystonia-associated features and dystonia spread.
