Malignant gastrointestinal neuroectodermal tumor (GNET) are rare malignant mesenchymal tumors. The tumor can present with various symptoms like abdominal pain, anorexia, or small bowel obstruction. Here, we present a case of small intestinal GNET who presented with gastrointestinal bleed and hemoperitoneum, a rare presentation of this disease.

A 45-year-old man who presented with progressive dysphagia of five months duration was diagnosed as a case of oesophageal epiphrenic diverticulum after endoscopic and imaging investigations. He underwent laparoscopic cardiomyotomy with Dor's fundoplication. Myotomy was done from the base of the diverticulum up to 2 cm distal to the gastroesophageal junction.

Self-organized porous anodic oxide films are formed by the electrochemical oxidation of reactive metal aluminum in acidic solutions in which the oxide is soluble. Recently, viscous flow models have shown using linear stability analysis that the instability results from a trade-off between the destabilizing effect of viscous flow of oxide and the stabilizing effect of oxide formation, which provides the wavelength selection mechanism for pattern formation. Anion adsorption on surface growth sites causes nonuniform compressive stress at the oxide-solution interface, which drives the flow.

Traditionally, in the oil and gas industry, accelerometers are mounted externally on motors for condition monitoring of vertically suspended, closed suction hydrocarbon pumps due to their inability to withstand harsh downhole environments, preventing the detection of impeller failures. This study addresses the need for encapsulation solutions for accelerometers submerged in hydrocarbon fluid environments. It evaluates the feasibility of epoxy and fluoroelastomer as encapsulation materials for long-term immersion in high-temperature hydrocarbon fluid and determines their impact on the accelerometer's performance.
