Background: Cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI) and its modified version (CAVI0) are promising non-invasive markers of arterial stiffness, extensively evaluated primarily in the Japanese population. In this work, we performed a model-based analysis of the association between different population characteristics and CAVI or CAVI0 values in healthy Russian subjects and propose a tool for calculating the range of reference values for both types of indices.

Methods: The analysis was based on the data from 742 healthy volunteers (mean age 30.

Introduction: Parental decision regret in hypospadias surgery is a recognised source of long-lasting psycho-social morbidity. High parental decision regret after their child's hypospadias repair is reported. The aim of this study is to report on decision regret in Australian parents, who accepted and declined surgery for their son and explore underlying factors for decision-making, satisfaction, and regret.

The first study of charm quark diffusion with respect to the jet axis in heavy ion collisions is presented. The measurement is performed using jets with p_{T}^{jet}>60  GeV/c and D^{0} mesons with p_{T}^{D}>4  GeV/c in lead-lead (Pb-Pb) and proton-proton (pp) collisions at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s_{NN}]=5.02  TeV, recorded by the CMS detector at the LHC.
