Our previous study revealed that lipid flip-flop inducing phytochemicals from Gymnema sylvestre increase membrane permeability of antimicrobials in S. aureus. However, their lipid flipping and membrane permeabilizing effect on methicillin resistant S.

First-row transition metals have thus been brought to light in the search for efficient and high-performance homogenous molecule catalysts that can accelerate energy transformation and reduce overpotentials during the catalytic process. Their dinuclear complexes have opportunities to enhance the efficiency and stability of these molecular catalysts, primarily for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and water oxidation reaction (WOR).

A comprehensive stability and speciation study was conducted in various biological media, mapping the therapeutic effects of TTFA-Platin. A control molecule, TMK-Platin, was synthesized to further validate the structural-stability relationship, which displayed poor activatable features in biological systems.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFOceanic phytoplankton productivity, which regulates atmospheric CO, is crucial for unraveling the complexities of the global carbon cycle. Despite its substantial contribution to the global carbon budget and its critical role in anthropogenic carbon sink, the Southern Ocean (SO) remains under-sampled due to logistical challenges. The present study attempts to elucidate the variability of water column primary production (PP) in the Indian Sector of the Southern Ocean (ISSO) by examining associated physicochemical parameters and physiological conditions of phytoplankton that drive this variability.
