Objectives: In conditional automation for automated vehicles (AVs), drivers are tasked with remaining vigilant and ready to assume control should the system encounter a malfunction. However, little to no information is provided to the driver either about the AV's intended maneuvers or the AV's awareness of potential threats in the surrounding environment. To address this research gap, the present study proposes 2 human-machine interaction (HMI) concepts: Firstly, the shared intended pathway (SIP), which presents a forecast of the AV's intended maneuvers and, secondly, object recognition bounding boxes (ORBBs), which place transparent blue squares around other road users likely to contribute to a crash.

Methods: This is a case report of a 23-year-old man with keratoconus who underwent lenticular intrastromal keratoplasty in his OD. Within 4 weeks, the patient presented with anterior sterile keratolysis and partial inlay extrusion, leading to surgical inlay removal.
Purpose: To provide a detailed description of the recommended surgical technique for gas injection during Descemet's Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK) surgery and highlight intraoperative sign that emerged in case of fluid retention in the interface.
Methods: Gas injection recommended surgical technique is 2 steps procedure using a 1 ml syringe: the first step consists in injecting centrally to the graft and very slowly a bubble of gas smaller than the DMEK graft size, the second step, after checking the absence of fluid interface (no bagel sign), consists in enlarging the gas bubble to the desired filling.
Results: Bagel sign allows surgeons to look for interface fluid and correct for potential issues leading to graft detachment.
Purpose: To investigate the role of preoperative posterior stromal ripples (pre-PSR) on visual acuity recovery after Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK).
Methods: This is a comparative case series retrospectively analyzing patients who underwent DMEK. Electronic records and imaging of DMEK patients were reviewed.
