Objective: Timely access to data is needed to improve care for substance-exposed birthing persons and their infants, a significant public health problem in the United States. We examined the current state of birthing person and infant/child (dyad) data-sharing capabilities supported by health information exchange (HIE) standards and HIE network capabilities for data exchange to inform point-of-care needs assessment for the substance-exposed dyad.

Material And Methods: A cross-map analysis was performed using a set of dyadic data elements focused on pediatric development and longitudinal supportive care for substance-exposed dyads (70 birthing person and 110 infant/child elements).

Tropical cyclones (TC) are dynamic atmospheric phenomena featuring extreme low-pressure systems and powerful winds, known for their devastating impacts on weather and the environment. The main purpose of this paper is to consider the subtle involvement of TCs in the air quality index (AQI), focusing on aspects related to the air quality before, during and after cyclones. This research employs multimodal methods, which include meteorological data and different satellite observations.

Genetic approaches have been traditionally used to understand microbial metabolism, but this process can be slow in nonmodel organisms due to limited genetic tools. An alternative approach is to study metabolism directly in the cell lysate. This avoids the need for genetic tools and is routinely used to study individual enzymatic reactions but is not generally used to study systems-level properties of metabolism.

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are a set of oxygen- and nitrogen-containing radicals. They are produced from a wide range of sources. In biological contexts, cellular stress leads to an overproduction of ROS, which can lead to genetic damage and disease development.
