Objectives: Lifestyle factors play a significant role in the development of chronic diseases. While researchers have extensively studied individual lifestyle components, the combined impact of multiple lifestyle factors on rheumatoid arthritis (RA) remains unclear. This study aimed to explore the association between a Combined Healthy Lifestyle Score (CHLS) and the odds of developing RA among Iranian adults.

This study introduces an innovative approach by functionalizing SPIONs with diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) and a novel C-peptide derived from endostatin, aimed at improved tumor targeting. This C-peptide targets integrin αv receptors, prominently overexpressed in breast cancer cells, enhancing specificity and imaging efficacy.

The FTIR, H NMR, and C NMR spectroscopic techniques and mass analysis were used to characterize the synthesized compounds. Their anticancer activity was assessed in vitro on the breast cancer (MCF-7) and healthy human breast epithelial (MCF-10 A) cell lines over 48 and 72 h using the MTT assay.

Objectives: This study aims to investigate patients' privacy experience when receiving care in emergency departments (EDs) in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. We aim to assess the level of satisfaction with privacy and to assess for factors that improve or worsen the privacy experience, not limited to patient demographics, length of stay, and hospital location.
Methods: This study used a mixed-methods design, gathering quantitative and qualitative data using a telephone survey and semi-structured interviews.
Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) presents a global health challenge due to its aggressive behavior and limited treatment options. This study explores a novel therapeutic strategy using C-peptide-conjugated solid lipid nanoparticles (C-peptide-SLNs) for targeting paclitaxel (PTX) delivery in TNBC treatment. C-peptide, derived from endostatin, enhances efficacy by targeting overexpressed integrin αvβ3 receptors on TNBC cells.
