Purpose: Adult granulosa cell tumors (aGCTs) are a rare type of ovarian malignancy. While most aGCTs have an indolent course, up to 25% experience recurrence. Identifying markers for disease recurrence is crucial for optimal management.

Morphological diversity of supramolecular polymers of DNA-containing oligopyrenes - formation of chiroptically active nanosheets.

The effect of DNA on the morphology of supramolecular polymers assembled from chimeric DNA-pyrene oligophosphodiesters in water is described. The number of deoxynucleotides determines if the self-assembly yields 1D or 2D structures. A single guanosine nucleotide attached to a heptapyrenotide induces chiroptical activity in self-assembled nanosheets.

Allele frequencies for 15 STR loci in Van-Ağri districts of the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey.

Allele frequencies of 13 tetrameric short tandem repeat (STR) loci (D3S1358, TH01, D21S11, D18S51, D5S818, D13S317, D7S820, D16S539, CSF1PO, vWA, D8S1179, TPOX, FGA) and 2 pentameric short tandem repeat loci (Penta E and Penta D) included in the PowerPlex 16 kit were obtained from a sample of 116 unrelated individuals in Van-Ağri districts of the Eastern Anatolia region of Turkey. The expected performance of these loci for personal identification and paternity testing in this population was estimated.

Allele frequencies of the 10 STRs loci (D16S539, D2S1338, D3S1358, vWA, D18S51, D21S11, D8S1179, D19S433, FGA, THO1) included in the AmpFlSTR SGM Plus kit (PE Applied Biosystems) were obtained from a sample of 173 unrelated individuals in Marmara region of Turkey.
