Pesticide mixtures show potential toxicity to aquatic life in U.S. streams, water years 2013-2017.

During water years (WY) 2013-2017, the U.S. Geological Survey, National Water-Quality Assessment (NAWQA) Project, sampled the National Water Quality Network - Rivers and Streams (NWQN) year-round and reported on 221 pesticides at 72 sites across the United States in agricultural, developed, and mixed land use watersheds.

Objective: Therapists in the hospital are charged with making timely discharge recommendations to improve access to rehabilitation after stroke. The objective of this study was to identify the predictive ability of the Activity Measure for Post-Acute Care "6 Clicks" Basic Mobility Inpatient Short Form (6 Clicks mobility) score and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score for actual hospital discharge disposition after stroke.

Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, data were collected from an academic hospital in the United States for 1543 patients with acute stroke and a 6 Clicks mobility score.

Stander Use for an Adolescent with Cerebral Palsy at GMFCS Level with Hip and Knee Contractures.

: Adolescents with cerebral palsy (CP) report high rates of pain and contractures. Standing may positively affect these outcomes, yet there are no published studies on how to accommodate contractures or when a stander is no longer beneficial. This is the first study that answers the question: Can an adolescent with CP and 40-degree knee and/or hip flexion contractures benefit from a standing program, after being non-weight bearing for many years? : A 16-year-old male with spastic tetraplegic CP, Gross Motor Function Classification System (GMFCS) level V, used a stander with a "knee and hip contracture system.
