In this study, in situ-synthesized ZnO/g-CN based composites were used as photocatalysts for organic pollution removal. These nanocomposites were prepared through simple calcination of a mixture of melamine and ZnO nanoparticles and underwent comprehensive evaluation of their structural, morphological, optical, and photocatalytic properties, using various analytical techniques. As the g-CN content increased, the band gap decreased from 3.

Article Synopsis
  • - The study aimed to enhance the photocatalytic performance of TiO₂ and g-C₃N₄ by creating g-CN/TiO heterojunction nanocomposites using a solution combustion method with a 9:1 weight ratio of g-C₃N₄ to TiO₂, testing different fuels like urea and citric acid.
  • - The TCN-CA/U nanocomposite showed impressive results, achieving 97% degradation of Methylene Blue under visible light in just 2 hours, and significantly outperforming pure g-C₃N₄ and TiO₂ in degradation rates.
  • - Key factors for the enhanced performance included a fourfold increase in surface area, reduced

Spongy NiCoO powders were prepared by solution combustion synthesis (SCS) method for lithium ions storage. The effects of combustion parameters including fuel type (L-lysine, glycine, and urea) and fuel amount on the lithium storage performance of NiCoO powders were analyzed by various characterization techniques. Single-phase NiCoO powders with extremely porous microstructure showed a strong drop of initial specific capacity up to 350 mAhg which was recovered up to 666 mAhg following 100 charge/discharge cycles.

Introduction: Pregnancy is one of the most critical times in a woman's life that is accompanied by a lot of worry, fear, and stress for the mother, and fear of contracting diseases and losing the children are among the most important of them. The present study investigated the relationship between the social determinants of health and fear of contracting infectious diseases in pregnant women using path analysis.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 330 pregnant Iranian women in Kashan from September 21th, 2021, to May 25th, 2022, using a multi-stage method.

Blood-brain barrier with strictly controlled activity participates in a coordinated transfer of bioactive molecules from the blood to the brain. Among different delivery approaches, gene delivery is touted as a promising strategy for the treatment of several nervous system disorders. The transfer of exogenous genetic elements is limited by the paucity of suitable carriers.
