To assess the effect of subconjunctival injection of anti-VEGF bevacizumab in the management of dry eye disease in a tertiary care hospital. In this quasi-experimental trial 150 eyes of 75 patients were selected using non-probability consecutive sampling technique. Detailed clinical examination was performed, the ocular surface disease index (OSDI) questionnaire score, tear film break-up time (TBUT) and Schirmer test 2 were measured and compared pre and post injection.

Examination of imported commodities by trained inspectors searching for pest organisms is a common practice that phytosanitary regulatory agencies use to mitigate biosecurity risks along trade pathways. To investigate the effects of target size and color on the efficacy of these visual assessments, we affixed square decals to polystyrene models of mandarins. Sample units of 100 model fruit containing up to 10 marked models were examined by inspectors.

Human papillomavirus and occupational exposure: The need for vaccine provision for healthcare providers.

To probe the understanding of healthcare providers regarding occupational exposure to human papillomavirus and their knowledge about human papillomavirus vaccination in relation to the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP) recommendations. In this cross-sectional study, the healthcare providers at Mayo Clinic Arizona, Florida, and Minnesota were delivered an electronic survey. The survey was completed by 349 healthcare providers, with one respondent excluded for inconsistent entry.
