Cellular biophysical metrics exhibit systematic alterations during processes, such as metastasis and immune cell activation, which can be used to identify and separate live cell subpopulations for targeting drug screening. Image-based biophysical cytometry under extensional flows can accurately quantify cell deformability based on cell shape alterations but needs extensive image reconstruction, which limits its inline utilization to activate cell sorting. Impedance cytometry can measure these cell shape alterations based on electric field screening, while its frequency response offers functional information on cell viability and interior structure, which are difficult to discern by imaging.

However, limited data supports a survival benefit attributable to screening these higher-risk individuals.
Methods: All patients enrolled in screening at a High-Risk Pancreatic Cancer Clinic (HRC) from July 2013 to June 2020 were identified from a prospectively maintained institutional database and compared to patients evaluated at a Surgical Oncology Clinic (SOC) at the same institution during the same period.
Importance: Understanding the risk of urinary retention with different prolapse repair surgical procedures is important for perioperative counseling.
Objective: The study compared postoperative urinary retention rates between robotic sacrocolpopexy and robotic uterosacral ligament suspension.
Study Design: This institutional review board-exempt retrospective cohort study compared patients who underwent pelvic organ prolapse repair with robotic sacrocolpopexy (RSCP) and robotic uterosacral ligament suspension (RUSLS) between June 2018 and March 2022.
Background: perm crosomal LLPinding (SAS1B) protein is found in oocytes, which is necessary for sperm-oocyte interaction, and also in uterine and pancreatic cancers. Anti-SAS1B antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) arrested growth in these cancers. However, SAS1B expression in cancers and normal tissues has not been characterized.

The dense PDAC stroma causes hypovascularity, which leads to hypoxia. Here, we showed that hypoxia drives long-lasting epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) in PDAC primarily through a positive-feedback histone methylation-MAPK signaling axis.
