Glioblastoma (GBM) infiltrates the brain and can be synaptically innervated by neurons, which drives tumor progression. Synaptic inputs onto GBM cells identified so far are largely short-range and glutamatergic. The extent of GBM integration into the brain-wide neuronal circuitry remains unclear.

In a recent issue of Science Immunology, Bagchi et al. identified that tumor-associated macrophages upregulate GPR65 in response to obesity-driven intratumor acidity resulting in reduced effector function to promote tumor growth.

CLL patients are susceptible to severe infections due to immune dysregulation induced by their malignancy and immunosuppressive therapies.
Case Presentation: We present a case of a 63-year-old man with CLL who previously achieved remission and presented with a right inguinal mass.
