Background: Stereotactic radiosurgery is a favorable alternative to surgery for intracranial cerebral metastases. Fourth ventricle (V4) metastases are challenging because of the location and surrounding structures, with a high risk for obstructive hydrocephalus and brainstem compression. Here, the authors evaluate the effectiveness in terms of safety, tumor control rates, and permanent cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) diversion of primary Gamma Knife radiosurgery (GKRS) in treating V4 metastases.

Experiences With Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause and Barriers to Vaginal Estrogen Usage Reported by a National Sample of 1500 Women.

Objective: To investigate women's experiences with genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) and vaginal estrogen therapy (VET), including barriers, awareness, and knowledge, and to report current trends and findings on GSM and VET to address barriers to care.

Methods: A survey on GSM and VET was posted on the ResearchMatch website. Eligible participants were women ≥ 40 years of age.

Background: Wearable digital health technologies and mobile apps (personal digital health technologies [DHTs]) hold great promise for transforming health research and care. However, engagement in personal DHT research is poor.

Objective: The objective of this paper is to describe how participant engagement techniques and different study designs affect participant adherence, retention, and overall engagement in research involving personal DHTs.
