Measuring ecological quality status in low-diversity Arctic intertidal foraminiferal assemblages using a diversity-based index.

EcoQS assessment of the marine intertidal zone based on its fauna is challenging because the assemblages have a low diversity and consist of stress tolerant species. The new approach we propose is to pool foraminiferal diversity (effective number of species exp(H')) across the whole intertidal zone including the salt marsh and tidal flat. In seven fjordheads studied in northern Fennoscandia, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) concentrations indicated low levels of pollution (EcoQS Excellent to Moderate).

ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS' HEALTH INDICATORS IN THE COURSE OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION CLASSES WITH A SPORTS FOCUS.

Objective: The aim: To conduct a comparative analysis of the health indicators of students who were engaged in various types of sports during physical education classes (using the example of power sports).

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: The research was conducted in 2019-2021 when the male students (n=96) were studying at the 1st and 2nd years in Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture. We examined the health indicators of 17-19-year-old students, who were engaged in various power sports: powerlifting, kettlebell lifting, armsport and CrossFit.

ANALYSIS OF STUDENTS' SOMATIC HEALTH AND EMOTIONAL STATE DURING SPORTS GAMES CLASSES.

Objective: The aim: Is to investigate the impact of sports games (football) on the level of somatic health and emotional state of students in the process of studying.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: The study was conducted at Kharkiv State Academy of Physical Culture and Sumy State University (Ukraine) in 2018-2019. The study involved 87 male students of the main department.

Image dataset of common benthic foraminiferal taxa in the North Atlantic seafloor surface sediments (59.5°N transect) between the Labrador sea and Faeroe-Shetland sill.

The article presents a microphotograph dataset of 106 taxa of benthic foraminifera (BF) from surface sediments collected at 26 grab station during RV 51st cruise (summer 2016). The selected stations are located along a 59.5°N transect in the North Atlantic.
