[Analysis of defects in health care delivery for children based on the data of commission forensic medical examinations performed in the Republic of Uzbekistan].

Objective: To perform a retrospective analysis of the commission forensic medical examinations' data of pediatric profile with identification of defects in health care delivery and establishment of their connection with unfavorable outcome.

Material And Methods: The data of 3854 commission forensic medical examinations performed in the period from 2012 to 2021 regarding the evaluation of quality of health care delivery for children with the establishment of nature and type of defects in health care delivery, determination of disease (injury) outcome, identification of cause-effect relationship between the defect in health care delivery and negative disease (injury) outcome.

Results And Conclusions: Defects in health care delivery were equal 9% in the studied commission forensic medical examinations.

Abdominal Organ Injuries in Youth Soccer: A Case Series and Review of Literature.

We describe 13 children who presented to the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (HMC) with pediatric soccer-related abdominal organ injuries. A review of the Pennsylvania Trauma System Foundation's Trauma Registry was performed between 2001 and 2015 for children with soccer injuries hospitalized at trauma centers across Pennsylvania.

Femur, Tibia, and Fibula Fractures Secondary to Youth Soccer: A Descriptive Study and Review of the Literature.

Objectives Soccer is the most popular sport in the world and is one of the top sports with increased participation. Despite the vast and increasing numbers of soccer players, limited data are available on pediatric lower extremity injuries. In particular, the purpose of the study is to describe the epidemiology of femur, tibia, and fibula fractures secondary to youth soccer.

Biomarkers after risk stratification in acute chest pain (from the BRIC Study).

Current models incompletely risk-stratify patients with acute chest pain. In this study, N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide and cystatin C were incorporated into a contemporary chest pain triage algorithm in a clinically stratified population to improve acute coronary syndrome discrimination. Adult patients with chest pain presenting without myocardial infarction (n = 382) were prospectively enrolled from 2008 to 2009.

[Course of wound healing under the influence of polyfepan in patients with diabetes mellitus].

The results of the treatment of 140 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with purulent process are analysed. The vulnerosorption with polyphepan was used in 68 patients. Polyphepan is a natural polymer obtained from a technical lignin.
