Evaluation of minced beef quality fortified with edible microalgae species during cryogenic storage.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the effect of some microalgae species adding with different forms on minced beef meat shelf life during cryogenic storage for 13 days. Chlorella vulgaris and Arthrospira platensis are chosen because of their safety and high nutritional value. Microalgae nanoparticles with their different forms have been prepared by using emulsification solvent evaporation method.

To determine the prevalence of oral and maxillofacial lesions among patients at King Abdulaziz University from January 2016 to December 2022. : This cross-sectional observational study included patients diagnosed with oral and maxillofacial intra-bony lesions based on radiological findings and confirmed by histopathological examination. The lesions were classified according to the fourth edition of the World Health Organization Classification of Head and Neck Tumors.

Anti-mutated citrullinated vimentin antibodies as a biomarker for interstitial lung disease in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Objectives: We aimed to assess the anti-mutated citrullinated vimentin (anti-MCV) antibodies in RA patients' serum and to explore their association with interstitial lung disease (ILD).

Methods: Eighty rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients and forty healthy controls were included in this case-control study. Of these patients, forty had ILD, and forty without ILD.
