Intestinal T-cell lymphoma, not otherwise specified (ITCL, NOS), primarily affects the small bowel but can involve the stomach and large bowel. This report presents an uncommon case of ITCL, NOS in a patient affecting the large bowel, supported by a literature review. An 87-year-old female presented with abdominal pain, fever, vomiting and weight loss.

While differences in pressure between the abdominal and thoracic cavities are important, the size of the hiatal defect is something that can be influenced surgically. As with all oncological surgery, safe resection margins are essential without adversely affecting necessary anatomical structure and function.

Aim: To investigate the association between cholecystectomy and gastro-intestinal tract (GIT) cancers.
Methods: We conducted a systematic review according to the PRISMA guidelines. A MEDLINE search was performed with predefined search criteria for English Language articles on the association between cholecystectomy and GIT cancers.
Background: The reduction in gastric cancer mortality is due to a reduction in incidence and of surgical mortality. This study was to examine adverse events in patients with gastric cancer dying under surgical care.
Methods: Adverse events in surgical care were prospectively audited in patients who died of gastric cancer in Scottish hospitals.
