Lung fibrosis development utilizes alveolar macrophages, with mechanisms that are incompletely understood. Here, we fate map connective tissue during mouse lung fibrosis and observe disassembly and transfer of connective tissue macromolecules from pleuro-alveolar junctions (PAJs) into deep lung tissue, to activate fibroblasts and fibrosis. Disassembly and transfer of PAJ macromolecules into deep lung tissue occurs by alveolar macrophages, activating cysteine-type proteolysis on pleural mesothelium.

Patients And Methods: A retrospective review of 411 lesions in 63 patients with refractory mCRC treated with Y90-RE was conducted. Manual region of interest (ROI) measurements were applied using a whole lesion and volume method.
Objectives: Using a national sample of Americans, this study estimated and compared patterns of depressive symptom trajectories stratified by military service. This study then examined associations between sociodemographic factors theorized to shape entry into military service and trajectory patterns.
Method: Data came from the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health, a nationally representative study that followed participants from adolescence (1994-1995) through midlife (2016-2018).

Previous research suggests that individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) may experience working memory (WM) problems, but the nature of the underlying disruption remains unknown. A recent study (Bodner et al. 2019) found that young adults with ASD experienced intact WM capacity but disruptions in their ability to efficiently filter and allocate attention.
