Authors have studied the effect of antistax on the cerebral venous discirculation (VD) in patients with discirculatory encephalopathy. Forty-three patients (mean age 46,8±1,8 years) received antistax in daily dose 720 mg during 2 months. Efficacy of treatment was assessed using the Visual Analogous Scale, Doppler ultrasound data, result of a non-invasive study of peripheral arterial tonus (PAT).

The effectiveness of treatment of anxiety-depressive syndrome with cymbalta, the selective inhibitor of serotonin and noradrenalin reuptake, has been assessed in 35 patients with discirculatory encephalopathy (mean age 50.9+/-1.78 years).
