Annular choroidal detachment following intravitreal aflibercept injection in a patient with nivolumab treatment: a case report.

Background: To present a novel case that developed annular choroidal detachment after intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor antibody injection in a patient after immune checkpoint inhibitor treatment.

Case Presentation: A 58-year-old Japanese man presented visual impairment in the right eye. Ophthalmological examination revealed macular edema in the right eye, which suggested the possibility of age-related macular degeneration.

Epstein-Barr viral corneal stromal keratitis occurring during rheumatoid arthritis treatment: a case report.

Background: A case of Epstein-Barr viral (EBV) corneal stromal keratitis during rheumatoid arthritis (RA) treatment is presented.

Case Presentation: A 74-year-old female undergoing RA treatment was previously treated for bacterial corneal ulcer and herpetic keratitis and healed with antibiotic eye drops and topical anti-herpes ointment. At the first visit to our hospital, she presented with findings of monocular posterior interstitial keratitis with neovascularization mostly located in the inferior cornea with a corneal epithelial defect.

Adjustment of intraocular lens tilt during intrascleral fixation assisted by intraoperative OCT.

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of using intraoperative optical coherence tomography (iOCT) to adjust the tilting of an intraocular lens (IOL) during implantation with intrascleral fixation.

Setting: Kyorin University Hospital, Tokyo, Japan.

Design: Retrospective, case-control, single-center study.

Case of peripheral fibrovascular proliferative retinopathy associated with morning glory disc anomaly.

It is known that the retinal detachments (RDs) associated with a morning glory disc anomaly (MGDA) usually appear from around the disc anomaly and complications by peripheral fibrovascular proliferation and tractional RD are very rare. We report our findings in an eye with MGDA that had a tractional RD, massive exudation from a peripheral temporal fibrovascular proliferation and vasculatures stretched by this proliferation and by a contraction of the hyaloidal membrane. The RD was successfully treated by vitrectomy and encircling buckling surgery.
