The research material consists of data from the Krakow Continuous Study (KCS) of somatic development and physical fitness of people born in 1970 and 1972, conducted in Krakow in the years 1976-2022.

In men's artistic gymnastics, results that are particularly appreciated are those obtained in all-around and individual events such as the floor exercise, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. The main aim of this study was to assess differences in the level of physical fitness between children of preschool age with different BMI, as overweight and obesity are an increasing problem even in this age group. The study group consisted of 3,945 children aged 4 to 6 years living in southern Poland. Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF) is one of the most frequent cardiac arrhythmias. Our purpose in the current study was the presentation of the main PAF aetiology and the most effective methods of therapy. The study revealed that both coronary artery disease and arterial hypertension are the most frequent reasons of PAF whereas acute physical effort seems to be the main triggering factor.
