We reported a rare case of a patient diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aneurysm who was surgically treated using endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair with an Ovation Alto stent graft.

Endograft oversizing is a risk factor for stent graft-induced new entry tears and retrograde type A aortic dissection. However, there is no clear consensus on the optimal graft size selection for Stanford type B acute or subacute aortic dissection (TBAD).

Pretreatment with synthetic C-reactive protein (CRP), a functional CRP peptide, has the potential to augment macrophage phagocytosis by bacterial challenge. However, the posttreatment is clinically ideal. We investigated the efficacy of posttreatment with synthetic CRP on murine cecal ligation and puncture (CLP), focusing on liver macrophages.
