The aim was to explore whether the time-lapse imaging system can help day-3 single cleavage embryo transfer to obtain comparative clinical outcomes to day-4 or 5. The data of 1237 patients who underwent single embryo transfer from January 1, 2018, to September 30, 2020, in our reproductive medicine centre were retrospectively analysed. They were divided into the day-3 single cleavage-stage embryo transfer (SCT) group ( = 357), day-4 single morula transfer (SMT) group ( = 129) and day-5 single blastocyst transfer (SBT) group ( = 751) according to the different embryo transfer stage.

Article Synopsis
  • Engineering porous organic polymers (POPs) into one-dimensional structures enhances their usability in applications, thanks to improved surface interactions with other molecules.
  • The review covers the latest in nanofibrous POPs, discussing their creation methods like direct bulk synthesis and electrospinning, and evaluating their functionality for various applications including water treatment and energy storage.
  • It also considers current challenges faced by nanofibrous POPs while proposing future directions for research and development in this area.

The association between the embryo quality, clinical characteristics, miRNAs (secreted by blastocysts in the culture medium) and pregnancy outcomes has been well-established. Studies on prediction models for pregnancy outcome, using clinical characteristics and miRNA expression, are limited. We aimed to establish the prediction model for prediction of pregnancy outcome of woman after a fresh cycle of Day 5 single blastocyst transfer (Day 5 SBT) based on clinical data and miRNA expression.
