Due to extensive industrialization and escalation in pollution, the world is facing problems related to soil heavy metal pollution. The traditional ways of soil remediation are neither feasible nor cost-effective in most of the real-world scenarios, where metal concentration is relatively low in soil. Therefore, phytoremediation using plants and plant secretions to remediate heavy metal-contaminated soil is recently getting more attention.
