Altered gut microbiota (GM) potentially contribute to development or worsening of sarcopenia through a gut-muscle axis. This systematic review aims to compare GM between persons with sarcopenia or low sarcopenia-defining parameters (muscle mass, strength, and physical performance) to those with preserved muscle status, as well as to clarify possible associations between sarcopenia (-defining parameters) and relative abundance (RA) of GM-taxa or GM-(α- or β) diversity indices, in order to clarify whether there is robust evidence of the existence of a GM signature for sarcopenia. Background: LHC165 is a Toll-like receptor (TLR)-7 agonist that generates an effective tumor antigen-specific T-cell adaptive immune response as well as durable antitumor responses. Aims: The majority of dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans (DFSP) harbour PDGFB or PDGFD rearrangements. We encountered ALK expression/rearrangement in a PDGFB/D-negative CD34-positive spindle cell neoplasm with features similar to DFSP, prompting evaluation of ALK-rearrangements in DFSP and plaque-like CD34-positive dermal fibroma (P-LDF).

Background: Developing theoretical courses for post-graduate medical training that are aligned to current workplace-based learning practices and adaptive to change in the field is challenging, especially in (sub) specialties where time for re-design is limited and needs to be performed while education continues.

Community-based health promotion (CBHP) interventions are promising approaches to address public health problems; however, their economic evaluation presents unique challenges. This review aims to explore the opportunities and limitations of evaluating economic aspects of CBHP, focusing on the assessment of intervention costs and outcomes, and the consideration of political-level changes and health equity. Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) comprise hematological disorders that originate from the neoplastic transformation of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). Whole-cell antibacterial assays are particularly suitable for fast detection and semi-quantification of bioactivities in extracts or other solutions such as microbial culture supernatants. As Actinomycetales, including the members of the genus Streptomyces, are one of the most potent "suppliers" of antibiotics and other bioactive compounds, there is a strong interest in the development of useful assays enabling early identification of such valuable producers. Furthermore, such assays facilitate the screening of a large collection of clones for the detection of engineered "super-producers" that are essential for industrial manufacturing of the respective product.

Study Question: Are patients' characteristics, such as anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) and BMI, reliable factors to predict ovarian response in couples with unexplained subfertility undergoing IUI with ovarian hyperstimulation (IUI-OH)?

Summary Answer: We observed no solid relationship between serum AMH and ovarian response.

What Is Known Already: Ovarian stimulation during IUI treatment could lead to a higher chance of pregnancy, but also a higher incidence of multiple pregnancies, unless strict cancellation criteria are being used. Several factors could influence the result of the stimulation, such as age, BMI and hormonal status of the female.
