Objective: To assess the efficacy of a brief telephone call to patients on a waiting list for physiotherapy treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction on initial attendance.

Design: Three-armed randomized controlled trial.

Setting: Outpatient physiotherapy clinic at a hospital.
