Association of Narrow Anterior Communicating Artery or Contralateral A1 Segment with Poor Outcomes After Mechanical Thrombectomy.

Contralateral A1 and AComA aplasia/hypoplasia are critically important in distal ICA T occlusion as the protective collateral blood supply from the circle of Willis via the anterior communicating artery is compromised. Although the terms aplasia/hypoplasia are used broadly in the literature, the need for concrete measurements and data on their clinical significance is apparent. Features of the individual anatomy of the circle of Willis may determine patient outcomes.

Exact goodness-of-fit tests for shape-scale families and type II censoring.

A survey of statistical methods for validation of shape-scale families of probability distributions from type II censored samples is given. We propose "integrated likelihood ratio tests" which are modifications of Zhang's tests from complete to type II censored data. We also give modifications of Cramér-von-Mises and Anderson-Darling tests using integration with respect to non-parametric estimators of the cumulative distribution function.

Tests for equality of survival distributions against non-location alternatives.

We propose new two and k-sample tests for evaluating the equality of survival distributions against alternatives that include crossing of survival functions, and proportional and monotone hazard ratios. The tests allow for right censored data. The asymptotic power against local alternatives is investigated.
