Research on high-yielding and biomass of maize hibrids which adaptive to intercropping environment is important in the context of modern agriculture faced with the challenges of climate change. The field evaluation was conducted in Arjasari, West Java, Indonesia, for two seasons in three different cropping systems, namely: maize sole cropping, maize+soybean intercropping and maize+sweet potato intercropping. The evaluation applied a randomized completed block design with three replications.

Sire has an important role because they could have more offspring than dam does. The research aims to determine the production performance of Friesian Holstein, estimation of heritability values, estimation of breeding values, and ranking of dairy cattle sires. The objects of the study were the complete record of milk production, lactation length, lactation peak, and dry period length from first to fourth lactation from 2017-2021.

Genetic studies on yield and yield quality are becoming benchmarks for farmers and industry in selecting and developing varieties. Evaluations that combine various stability statistics can provide more accurate information to select the ideal genotype. This study aims to identify the effect of genotype by environment interactions (GEIs) for yield and yield quality, to select high yield and stable sweet potato genotypes, as well as to select superior genotypes based on yield and yield quality.

Selection of high yielding and stable maize hybrid requires effective method of evaluation. Multienvironment evaluation is a critical step in plant breeding programs that is aimed at selecting the ideal genotype in a wide range of environments. A method of evaluation that combines a variety parameter of stability could provide more accurate information to select the ideal genotype.
